In place of our final youth study night those of us who are keen are attending the AAC curry night. Youth study nights are now pausing over the summer and we will let everyone know when they will resume. However, for anyone going to Magnitude there will be a couple of additional get-togethers - please look out for WhatsApp messages if you are part of this.
Volunteering opportunites
We are very grateful for all our volunteers who help to run every thing smoothly. There are some new volunteering opportunities below.
Creche
Our Sunday Morning at The Barn creche is up and running. We are still looking for volunteers to go on the rota. Don’t worry about missing the service as you will be able to watch on the creche room screen. If you are interested in serving please speak to Elsie Maclean after the service or telephone her on 07786 354437.
Beauty for Ashes Retreats
This August we have a group of ladies from different parts of USA visiting to help facilitate Beauty for Ashes Retreats (more details to follow). For now I am looking for anyone willing to host a couple of the ladies for 5 nights, from 21st Aug to 26th Aug. They just need a bed for the night and possibly breakfast as everything else will be covered elsewhere. If you are able to offer to host the ladies please speak with Alison Ramsay or text 07533031888 or email alison.ramsay@tinyworld.co.uk. Thank you.
Great Wilderness Challenge, 15 August 2026.
We will again be hoping to enter a team in this year's great Wilderness Challenge in beautiful Wester Ross at Poolewe, raising funds for the Community Garden and a possible performance space.
There are places available in the 7 and 13 mile events for runners or walkers. It's a fantastic day out! If you would like to know more, please speak to Peter Logie, Andrew Ramsay or David Babb. Peter and Andrew will be away until late June.
