Pastoral Care

Pastoral Care Meeting:

We are setting up a Pastoral Care Team to help us deliver on our Pastoral Care vision. If you are interested and want to find out more then join us in the Lounge at the Barn Church on Sunday 14th Sept after church, from 12.30pm. For more info speak to Pamela or Lynda Thomson.

Our minister and pastoral care team provide pastoral support and you can make a request for yourself or on behalf of someone else

Luke 10:27 "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your strength and with all your mind; and love your neighbour as yourself"

What is Pastoral Care?

Pastoral care is about demonstrating God's love by walking alongside each other, recognising and affirming the inherent worth of each individual and reflecting the value God places on them.

It fits into our vision in Culloden and Ardersier Parish Church to know Jesus so that we can make Him known.

Pastoral care is an invitation to all of us to participate in the mission of God by sharing with others the benefits of grace we receive from God.

Types of pastoral care

We can experience pastoral care in a lot of different ways and settings including fellowship with one another, in the teaching we receive, in reaching out to our community and in the giving and receiving care and support.

Who provides Pastoral Care?

Many people in the church provide pastoral care in different ways but we also have a pastoral care team within the church with a particular passion and gift towards caring for others.

What will happen if I request help?

Someone from the pastoral care team will be in touch to find out how we can help and what kind of support you might find most helpful.
